Medicare is a kind of health insurance created by the federal government for seniors, and also people who have certain disabilities and illnesses. If an individual who has Medicare needs treatment for instances of substance abuse, their treatment will either be covered entirely by their Medicare health insurance or to a significant degree. Part B will partially cover outpatient rehabilitation within a Medicare accepted center, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplemental insurance coverage or they'll have to self pay.
