Rehabilitation counselors in a LGBT rehab will help clients fix relationships with their family, in the case their loved ones disagree with their sexual preference as is often the case. This circumstance is an extremely frequent trigger for drug use, and is a good example of an issue that could be handled in treatment. LGBT clients often only want to be accepted in their lives, and rehab will help them accept themselves and create confidence so that they can lead a wholesome life clear of drugs and alcohol.
