Self pay is often times the only option for individuals who need treatment in a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center for drug use but have no health insurance. It isn't uncommon for someone addicted to drugs or alcohol not to have private medical insurance, as it can be hard to keep a drug or alcohol habit going while still keeping employment. When someone has to self pay for rehab and doesn't have private medical insurance, it's a good idea to look into Medicaid to see if they qualify, when they haven't already done so. Should they have no other choice but to self pay, individuals as well as their families can usually produce the resources to pay for rehabilitation somehow. Luckily, many drug rehabilitation centers will work with folks whose only choice is to self pay to make it more achievable to participate in an excellent alcohol and drug rehab program. You will find payment assistance options available at many alcohol and drug rehab centers that qualified clients can benefit from.
