Medicare is a form of medical insurance created by the government for older folks, as well as individuals with certain disabilities and diseases. When someone who has Medicare needs rehabilitation for cases of drug or alcohol abuse, their treatment will either be covered in full by their Medicare health insurance or to a great degree. The one exception is, the individual must obtain treatment from a drugs and alcohol detox facility which accepts Medicare. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of rehab solutions. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center if the individual has to be in a hospital for issue, along with the costs that they will have to cover personally are identical to every other stay in a hospital. Part B will partly cover outpatient rehabilitation in a Medicare accepted program, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplemental insurance or they're going to have to self pay.
