TRICARE is health care insurance that's offered to members of the military of the United States. If an inpatient center could be the preferred rehabilitation option, TRICARE will cover a 3 week period or one inpatient stay in such a program per benefit period which is every 365 days. There are certain limits as to how much time a TRICARE member can stay in the inpatient program that accepts TRICARE, and there is typically a 30 to 45 day window that is covered. TRICARE also covers family treatment which can be very helpful, as it can help include loved ones in the healing and recovery process. No member of the military should struggle with this battle alone, and there are skilled rehabilitation counselors waiting to help today.
