Medicare is a type of medical health insurance created by the U.S. government for senior citizens, as well as those that have certain disabilities and diseases. If a person who has Medicare needs rehabilitation for cases of substance abuse, their treatment will be either covered entirely by their Medicare health insurance or to a significant degree. The one exception is, the individual must receive treatment from your drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be permitted to begin rehabilitation, they may also have to see their medical doctor who must declare that rehab services are medically needed, and the physician will usually approve what sort of rehab the person will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover different types of rehab solutions. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center in the event that the individual should be in a hospital for problem, along with the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are the same as every other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partially cover outpatient treatment in the Medicare accepted program, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplemental insurance or they'll have to self pay.
