Offering gender-specific rehab services has shown to be beneficial in situations where standard rehabilitation facilities have fallen short, such as dealing with situations in a women's life which can be distinctive and painful. Such difficulties may relate to sexual abuse, physical trauma, psychological abuse, eating disorders, one's family members and being a mother, or any other serious issues which can be particular to women. Studies show that women may also get embroiled in drug use more readily than men, and so are more vulnerable to sickness due to dependency issues than males consequently.
