Medicare is a form of health insurance designed by the federal government for older persons, in addition to people who have certain disabilities and sicknesses. If an individual who has Medicare needs rehabilitation for instances of substance abuse, their treatment will either be covered in full by their Medicare insurance or to a great degree. The one catch is, the person will need to obtain treatment from an alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be permitted to commence rehab, they will also have to visit their physician who must state that rehab services are medically essential, and the doctor will typically approve which kind of rehab the individual will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover different types of rehab solutions. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility if the individual should be hospitalized for issue, and the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are the same as any other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient rehabilitation in a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't pay for with supplemental insurance or they will have to self pay.
