Medicare is a form of medical health insurance designed by the federal government for older folks, along with those that have certain disabilities and sicknesses. When someone that has Medicare needs treatment for cases of substance abuse, their rehab will either be covered completely by their Medicare insurance or to a great extent. The one exception is, the individual must acquire treatment from an alcohol and drugs detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be permitted to begin rehab, they may also have to see their doctor who must state that treatment services are medically needed, and the doctor will generally approve which kind of rehab the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover various kinds of rehabilitation solutions. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility if the individual needs to be hospitalized for his or her issue, and the costs that they will have to pay for personally are identical to every other stay in a hospital. Part B will partly cover outpatient rehab in the Medicare accepted center, and the individual will need to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't cover with supplement insurance coverage or they're going to have to self pay.
