Offering gender-specific rehab services has shown to be worthwhile in circumstances where conventional rehabilitation settings have fallen short, for example coping with situations inside a women's life which are distinctive and distressing. Such troubles may relate to sexual abuse, physical abuse, mental abuse, eating disorders, one's family and motherhood, or other significant issues which can be specific to women.
