Medicare is a type of health care insurance designed by the federal government for senior citizens, as well as those that have specific disabilities and diseases. If someone who has Medicare needs treatment for cases of substance abuse, their treatment will be either covered in full by their Medicare health insurance or to a great degree. The only real exception is, the individual will need to acquire treatment from the drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Medicare Part An and Part B cover various kinds of rehab solutions. Medicare Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility if the individual needs to be in a hospital for problem, and the costs that they will have to cover personally are identical to every other hospital stay. Medicare Part B will partially cover outpatient rehab within a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't cover with supplement insurance coverage or they will have to self pay.
