Medicare is a type of health insurance created by the U.S. government for older folks, along with individuals with certain disabilities and diseases. If a person who has Medicare needs rehabilitation for instances of substance abuse, their treatment will either be covered entirely by their Medicare insurance or to a significant degree. The one exception is, the individual will need to obtain treatment from an alcohol and drugs detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be permitted to commence rehab, they will also have to visit their primary care physician who must state that rehab services are medically necessary, and the doctor will usually approve what sort of rehab the person will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of treatment services. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility if the individual must be hospitalized because of their issue, along with the costs which they willwill have to pay for personally are the same as any other stay in a hospital. Part B will partly cover outpatient rehab within a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplemental insurance or they're going to have to self pay.
