Rehabs that Accept Tricare - Columbus
TRICARE is health insurance that's offered to members of the military of the United States. Drug and alcohol use within the military is more common than one would assume, and the need to provide rehabilitation to these individuals is an important priority. TRICARE covers numerous treatment services to deal with alcohol and drug dependence including detoxification services, and also rehabilitation in outpatient, partial hospitalization and inpatient programs. Those that have TRICARE will of course be required to have a prior authorization before partaking in any type of treatment service, which can be organized using their regional TRICARE representative. If an inpatient program could be the preferred treatment choice, TRICARE covers a 3 week period or one inpatient stay in that program per benefit period which is every 12 months. There are certain limits about the length of time a TRICARE member can remain in an inpatient facility that accepts TRICARE, then there is typically a 30-45 day window which is covered. TRICARE also covers family treatment which may be very helpful, as it can help include loved ones in the healing and process of recovery. No member of the military should fight this battle alone, and there are skilled rehabilitation counselors ready to help you today.
