Self pay is often times the only option for individuals who need treatment in the alcohol and drug rehab facility for drug use but have no medical insurance. It isn't uncommon for an individual dependent on drugs or alcohol not to have private health insurance, as it can be difficult to keep a drug or alcohol habit going while still keeping employment.
