Medicare is a sort of medical insurance developed by the U.S. government for older persons, as well as people who have specific disabilities and sicknesses. If an individual who has Medicare needs treatment for cases of substance abuse, their treatment will be either covered fully by their Medicare insurance or to a significant degree. The one exception is, the person will need to obtain treatment coming from a drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Medicare Part An and Part B cover several types of rehabilitation services. Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility if the individual needs to be in a hospital for his or her problem, and also the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are the same as every other stay in a hospital. Part B will partially cover outpatient treatment in a Medicare accepted center, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplement insurance coverage or they'll have to self pay.
