Medicare is a form of health care insurance created by the U.S. government for seniors, in addition to individuals with certain disabilities and illnesses. When someone that has Medicare needs rehabilitation for cases of drug or alcohol abuse, their treatment will be either covered entirely by their Medicare health insurance or to a great extent. The only exception is, the individual will need to obtain treatment from your drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be allowed to commence rehabilitation, they will also have to see their physician who must state that rehab services are medically needed, and the physician will usually approve which kind of rehab the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover several types of treatment providers. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility in the event that the individual must be hospitalized for problem, and also the costs which they willwill have to pay for personally are the same as every other stay in a hospital. Part B will partially cover outpatient rehabilitation inside a Medicare accepted center, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplement insurance coverage or they're going to have to self pay.
