TRICARE is medical insurance that is provided to members of the military of the United States. People with TRICARE will naturally have to obtain a prior authorization before taking part in any kind of rehab service, which can be arranged with their regional TRICARE liaison. If an inpatient center could be the preferred rehabilitation option, TRICARE will cover a three week period or one inpatient stay in this particular program per benefit period which is every 365 days. There are certain limits about how much time a TRICARE member can stay in the inpatient program that accepts TRICARE, and there's typically a 30-45 day window that is covered. TRICARE also covers family treatment which may be very beneficial, as it can help include loved ones in the healing and recovery process.
