Medicare is a form of health care insurance designed by the government for seniors, along with people who have certain disabilities and illnesses. If a person that has Medicare needs rehabilitation for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehabilitation will either be covered fully by their Medicare insurance or to a great degree. The one exception is, the individual will have to obtain treatment coming from a drugs and alcohol detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be allowed to start treatment, they can also get to visit their physician who must declare that rehab services are medically essential, and the doctor will typically approve what type of rehabilitation the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover several types of rehab solutions. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility if the individual needs to be in a hospital for problem, and the costs that they will have to cover personally are the same as every other hospital stay. Part B will partly cover outpatient rehab in a Medicare accepted program, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't pay for with supplemental insurance coverage or they've got to self pay.
