Medicare is a form of health care insurance designed by the U.S. government for senior citizens, along with those that have specific disabilities and illnesses. If an individual who has Medicare needs treatment for cases of substance abuse, their rehab will be either covered fully by their Medicare health insurance or to a significant degree. The only catch is, the individual will need to receive treatment coming from an alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be permitted to begin rehab, they can also get to visit their doctor who must declare that rehabilitation services are medically necessary, and the doctor will generally approve which kind of rehab the individual will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover several types of treatment solutions. Medicare Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program in the event that the individual should be in a hospital for their issue, and the costs which they willwill have to pay for personally are the same as every other stay in a hospital. Part B will partially cover outpatient rehabilitation in a Medicare accepted center, and the individual will need to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance coverage or they'll have to self pay.
