Criminal justice client rehabs are available as a significantly better option than incarceration or significant fines for those who have already been convicted of any type of drug or alcohol related crime. For instance, someone who has been found guilty of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol may qualify to obtain rehabilitation services for their problem as an alternative to serving time in prison. The judge could even order the individual receive treatment, either alone or as well as other consequences. First time offenders in particular tend to be given the opportunity choose a criminal justice client rehab instead of other sentencing, and it is highly recommended they benefit from it when it is a possibility.
