Self pay is sometimes the only option for many who need rehabilitation within a drug and alcohol rehab facility for substance abuse but haven't any health insurance. It isn't uncommon for someone dependent on drugs or alcohol not to have private health insurance, as it can be challenging to maintain an alcohol or drug habit going while also sustaining employment.
