Individuals who would like to maintain a certain amount of flexibility in their lives can take advantage of an outpatient rehab when they need rehabilitation for drug or alcohol abuse. Outpatient rehab allows for the rehabilitation client to take part in rehab services without the commitment you might ordinarily have to agree to in an inpatient or residential alcohol and drug treatment facility. This doesn't often work in the rehabilitation client's favor however, specifically those clients who need to solve significant substance abuse problems. So while an outpatient rehab might appear to be a convenient possibility, it isn't for everybody.
