Medicare is a type of medical health insurance designed by the government for senior citizens, in addition to people who have specific disabilities and illnesses. When someone who has Medicare needs treatment for cases of drug or alcohol abuse, their treatment will either be covered in full by their Medicare health insurance or to a great extent. The only exception is, the individual must acquire treatment from the drugs and alcohol detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be allowed to start rehabilitation, they may also have to visit their physician who must state that rehab services are medically needed, and the physician will generally approve what type of rehabilitation the person will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover various kinds of rehab solutions. Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility in the event that the individual has to be hospitalized for problem, and the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are the same as every other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient treatment inside a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will need to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't cover with supplement insurance or they'll have to self pay.
