Medicare is a form of medical health insurance developed by the government for older folks, along with those that have certain disabilities and illnesses. If a person who has Medicare needs treatment for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their treatment will either be covered fully by their Medicare health insurance or to a great extent. The only real exception is, the person will need to obtain treatment from an alcohol and drugs rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be permitted to commence rehabilitation, they may also have to visit their doctor who must state that treatment services are medically essential, and the doctor will usually approve what sort of treatment the person will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of rehab solutions. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program when the individual should be in a hospital because of their issue, along with the costs that they will have to cover personally are identical to every other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient rehab inside a Medicare accepted program, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance or they've got to self pay.
