TRICARE is health insurance which is provided to people in the military of the United States. Drug abuse within the military is a lot more common than one would imagine, and the need to provide treatment to these individuals is an important priority. TRICARE covers numerous rehab services to address alcohol and drug dependence like detoxification services, and also rehabilitation in outpatient, partial hospitalization and inpatient settings. People who have TRICARE will naturally be required to get a prior authorization before partaking in any sort of rehab service, which is often organized with their regional TRICARE representative. If an inpatient center is the favored treatment option, TRICARE covers 21 days or one inpatient stay in such a facility per benefit period which is every 365 days. There are particular limits as to how much time a TRICARE member can stay in an inpatient program that accepts TRICARE, and there's typically a 30 to 45 day window that is covered. TRICARE also covers family treatment that may be very helpful, as it may help include loved ones in the healing and recovery process. No member of the military should fight this battle alone, and there are skilled rehab counselors waiting to help today.
