Medicare is a kind of health insurance designed by the federal government for senior citizens, along with people with certain disabilities and illnesses. If an individual who has Medicare needs treatment for instances of substance abuse, their rehabilitation will either be covered in full by their Medicare insurance or to a great extent. The only exception is, the person will need to receive treatment from a drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be permitted to start rehabilitation, they may also have to visit their primary care physician who must state that rehab services are medically necessary, and the physician will typically approve what type of rehab the individual will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of rehabilitation solutions. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center if the individual needs to be in a hospital for issue, and the costs that they will have to pay for personally are the same as every other stay in a hospital. Part B will partially cover outpatient treatment within a Medicare accepted center, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance or they've got to self pay.
