Medicaid is a health insurance available for individuals who are in certain income brackets which qualifies them to obtain this government funded insurance coverage. Whether or not a person qualifies for Medicaid doesn't only determined by their earnings however, and people shouldn't presume they don't qualify because they earn a good income. As an example, men and women who have many dependents may qualify for Medicaid even when they make what might be described as a reasonable income. Some states only include outpatient rehab services for example while other states cover far more extensive rehab say for example a residential stay in long-term drug and alcohol treatment program. If somebody is involved in drug abuse and desires help, they are able to use their Medicaid insurance coverage to obtain this help. If they do not have Medicaid plus don't have the funds or some other type of medical health insurance to cover rehab, they can see if they are eligible for a Medicaid and then sign up for an alcohol and drug rehabilitation facility which is approved in their state.
