Medicaid is a form of health care insurance available for those who are in certain income brackets which qualifies them to obtain this government funded insurance. Some states only cover outpatient treatment services for instance while other states cover more extensive rehabilitation such as a residential stay in long-term alcohol and drug treatment program. If a person is involved in drug use and desires help, they're able to use their Medicaid insurance coverage to get this help. If they do not have Medicaid and in addition don't have the funds or another form of health insurance to pay for rehabilitation, they could check if they qualify for Medicaid and then sign up for an alcohol and drug rehab facility that's approved within their state.
