Medicare is a type of medical health insurance created by the federal government for senior citizens, as well as people with specific disabilities and sicknesses. If a person that has Medicare needs rehabilitation for cases of drug or alcohol abuse, their treatment will be either covered fully by their Medicare health insurance or to a significant extent. Medicare Part B will partially cover outpatient treatment within a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplemental insurance coverage or they will have to self pay.
