Medicare is a form of medical health insurance created by the government for seniors, and also people with certain disabilities and sicknesses. When someone who has Medicare needs treatment for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehabilitation will be either covered completely by their Medicare health insurance or to a significant degree. The one exception is, the person will need to receive treatment from the drugs and alcohol detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be allowed to commence rehabilitation, they will also have to visit their primary care physician who must declare that treatment services are medically necessary, and the physician will usually approve which kind of treatment the person will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover various kinds of rehab services. Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center when the individual should be hospitalized for issue, and also the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are the same as any other stay in a hospital. Part B will partly cover outpatient rehab in a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplement insurance or they will have to self pay.
