Offering gender-specific treatment services has shown to be very helpful in situations where conventional rehabilitation facilities have not meet expectations, such as dealing with situations within a women's life that are distinctive and traumatic. Such concerns may have to do with sexual abuse, physical trauma, psychological abuse, eating disorders, one's family members and motherhood, or another really serious issues that are particular to women.
