If an individual that has Medicare needs treatment for cases of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehabilitation will be either covered entirely by their Medicare insurance or to a significant degree. The only real exception is, the person must receive treatment from a drugs and alcohol detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be permitted to commence rehab, they may also have to see their primary care physician who must state that rehabilitation services are medically needed, and the doctor will generally approve what sort of treatment the person will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover various kinds of treatment solutions. Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility when the individual should be in a hospital for problem, as well as the costs that they will have to pay for personally are identical to any other hospital stay. Part B will partially cover outpatient treatment in the Medicare accepted center, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't cover with supplement insurance coverage or they're going to have to self pay.
