Dual diagnosis rehabs are programs which provide rehab to deal with both addiction and mental health issues concurrently. Dual diagnosis clients also reap the benefits of behavioral treatment that helps them develop more efficient coping mechanisms so that they are better able to handle life situations more proficiently when they depart dual diagnosis rehab instead of turning to drugs and alcohol as a possible answer.
