Self pay is often times the only option for many who need treatment in the drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility for substance abuse but haven't any medical health insurance. It isn't uncommon for a person hooked on drugs or alcohol to not have private health insurance, as it can be tough to keep a drug or alcohol habit going while also sustaining work.
