Medicaid is a kind of health care insurance available for those who are in specific income brackets which qualifies them to obtain this government provided insurance coverage. If a person is involved with substance abuse and wants help, they could use their Medicaid health coverage to get this treatment. If they don't have Medicaid plus don't have the money or any other type of medical health insurance to pay for treatment, they could determine if they are eligible for a Medicaid and then sign up for a drug rehabilitation facility that is approved inside their state.
