Medicare is a form of health insurance developed by the U.S. government for seniors, as well as those that have specific disabilities and illnesses. When someone who has Medicare needs treatment for cases of drug or alcohol abuse, their treatment will either be covered fully by their Medicare health insurance or to a great degree. The only real catch is, the individual will have to obtain treatment from the drugs and alcohol detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be allowed to start rehab, they can also get to visit their physician who must declare that treatment services are medically necessary, and the physician will typically approve what sort of rehab the individual will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover several types of rehabilitation solutions. Medicare Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted program if the individual must be in a hospital for issue, and the costs that they will have to pay for personally are identical to every other stay in a hospital. Part B will partially cover outpatient rehabilitation inside a Medicare accepted program, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplemental insurance coverage or they will have to self pay.
