Medicare is a type of health care insurance created by the federal government for older persons, and also those that have certain disabilities and sicknesses. If someone who has Medicare needs rehab for instances of substance abuse, their rehabilitation will either be covered completely by their Medicare health insurance or to a significant extent. Before the individual will be allowed to commence rehabilitation, they will also have to see their physician who must state that rehabilitation services are medically essential, and the physician will typically approve what type of treatment the person will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover various kinds of treatment services. Medicare Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility if the individual should be in a hospital because of their issue, and the costs that they will have to cover personally are identical to every other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient treatment inside a Medicare accepted center, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't cover with supplemental insurance coverage or they'll have to self pay.
