Medicaid is a health care insurance available for those who are in certain income brackets which qualifies them to acquire this government provided insurance coverage. Whether a person qualifies for Medicaid doesn't only depend on income however, and individuals shouldn't assume they don't qualify because they make a reasonable income. Certain states only cover outpatient rehabilitation services for instance while other states cover far more extensive rehabilitation like a residential stay in long-term drug and alcohol treatment center. If someone is involved in drug use and wants help, they could use their Medicaid health coverage to acquire this treatment. If they do not have Medicaid plus don't have enough cash or some other type of health insurance to pay for rehabilitation, they could see if they are eligible for a Medicaid and then enroll in a drug rehab facility that's approved within their state.
