Medicare is a type of medical health insurance developed by the U.S. government for older folks, along with individuals with certain disabilities and sicknesses. If an individual who has Medicare needs rehabilitation for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their treatment will be either covered in full by their Medicare health insurance or to a great extent. The only real exception is, the person must receive treatment from an alcohol and drugs detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be permitted to commence rehab, they may also have to see their medical doctor who must state that rehabilitation services are medically needed, and the physician will usually approve what sort of rehab the individual will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover several types of treatment solutions. Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility in the event that the individual has to be hospitalized for his or her issue, along with the costs that they will have to pay for personally are the same as every other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient rehab in a Medicare accepted program, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplemental insurance coverage or they're going to have to self pay.
