Medicare is a form of medical insurance designed by the government for senior citizens, along with people who have specific disabilities and diseases. If an individual who has Medicare needs rehabilitation for cases of drug or alcohol abuse, their rehabilitation will be either covered fully by their Medicare insurance or to a great degree. The only real exception is, the person will need to obtain treatment coming from an alcohol and drugs detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be allowed to begin treatment, they can also get to visit their physician who must declare that treatment services are medically necessary, and the physician will generally approve what type of rehab the individual will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover several types of rehab services. Medicare Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center when the individual should be in a hospital because of their problem, along with the costs that they will have to pay for personally are the same as any other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient treatment in a Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will need to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't pay for with supplemental insurance coverage or they've got to self pay.
