TRICARE is health care insurance that's offered to folks in the armed forces of the United States. Drug and alcohol use within the military is a lot more common than one would imagine, and the necessity to offer treatment to these individuals is a priority. There are specific limits about how much time a TRICARE member can stay within an inpatient program that accepts TRICARE, and there is typically a 30-45 day window that is covered. TRICARE also covers family counselling which is often very beneficial, as it can certainly help include family members in the healing and process of recovery.
