TRICARE is health care insurance that's provided to people in the military of the United States. Drug abuse inside the military is much more common than one would imagine, and the need to offer rehab to these individuals is an important priority. TRICARE covers many different rehabilitation services to handle drug and alcohol dependence such as detox services, along with rehab in outpatient, partial hospitalization and inpatient settings. Those that have TRICARE will of course have to have a prior approval before partaking in any sort of rehabilitation service, which is often organized with their regional TRICARE liaison. If an inpatient facility will be the favored rehabilitation option, TRICARE covers a 3 week period or one inpatient stay in such a center per benefit period which is every 365 days. There are specific limits as to how much time a TRICARE member can remain in an inpatient facility that accepts TRICARE, and there's typically a 30-45 day window that's covered. TRICARE also covers family treatment which is often very beneficial, as it can help include loved ones in the healing and process of recovery. No member of the military should fight this battle alone, and there are expert treatment counselors waiting to assist you today.
