Medicare is a type of medical health insurance created by the U.S. government for older persons, along with individuals with specific disabilities and diseases. If a person that has Medicare needs rehabilitation for cases of substance abuse, their rehab will be either covered fully by their Medicare insurance or to a great degree. The only exception is, the person will need to receive treatment from your drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be permitted to begin rehab, they will also have to see their doctor who must state that rehabilitation services are medically needed, and the physician will usually approve what sort of rehab the individual will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover several types of rehab services. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility if the individual must be hospitalized for problem, and the costs that they will have to cover personally are identical to any other hospital stay. Medicare Part B will partially cover outpatient rehabilitation within a Medicare accepted center, and the individual will need to cover whatever Part B doesn't pay for with supplemental insurance coverage or they're going to have to self pay.
