Medicare is a type of medical insurance designed by the U.S. government for seniors, as well as those that have certain disabilities and diseases. When someone that has Medicare needs treatment for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their treatment will either be covered fully by their Medicare insurance or to a significant extent. The only real catch is, the individual will need to receive treatment from the alcohol and drugs detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be allowed to commence rehabilitation, they will also have to visit their primary care physician who must state that treatment services are medically essential, and the doctor will usually approve what sort of rehab the person will take part in. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of rehab providers. Medicare Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center if the individual should be in a hospital because of their problem, along with the costs which they willwill have to cover personally are identical to any other stay in a hospital. Part B will partly cover outpatient treatment in a Medicare accepted center, and the individual will have to cover whatever Part B doesn't cover with supplement insurance coverage or they're going to have to self pay.
