TRICARE is medical health insurance that is offered to people in the military of the United States. Drug abuse inside the military is more common than one would imagine, and the need to provide rehab to these individuals is a priority. TRICARE covers numerous rehab services to handle alcohol and drug dependence including detox services, as well as rehabilitation in outpatient, partial hospitalization and inpatient programs. People who have TRICARE will of course be required to get a prior approval before partaking in any type of treatment service, which can be arranged with their regional TRICARE liaison. If an inpatient facility is the favored rehabilitation choice, TRICARE will cover a 3 week period or one inpatient stay in this particular center per benefit period which is every 365 days. There are specific limits as to how much time a TRICARE member can remain within an inpatient center that accepts TRICARE, then there is typically a 30-45 day window that's covered. TRICARE also covers family therapy that may be very helpful, as it could help include loved ones in the healing and process of recovery. No person in the military should struggle with this battle alone, and there are expert rehab counselors ready to help you today.
