A group home for anyone who has tbeen involved with alcohol and drug abuse is a facility which provides continuous support and help for those in recovery. A group home is usually for troubled adolescents, but there's also group homes for those with a mental health problem or who are experiencing behavioral problems for example. As opposed to sending individuals who are being affected by substance abuse or recovering from drug abuse to an orphanage, asylum or another similar facility, a group home can help provide an acceptable environment to help sustain stability in their lives and still have counsel and assistance within reach 24/7. Residents inside a group home might be taking part in rehab services during residence, or might be taking actions to get their life setup outside of the group home to enable them to at some point live independently not in the group home.
