Medicare is a form of health insurance created by the government for senior citizens, and also people with certain disabilities and sicknesses. If a person who has Medicare needs treatment for instances of substance abuse, their rehabilitation will either be covered completely by their Medicare health insurance or to a significant degree. The only real exception is, the person will have to obtain treatment from the drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Medicare Part An and Part B cover various kinds of rehab services. Medicare Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center if the individual should be in a hospital for his or her issue, along with the costs that they will have to pay for personally are the same as any other stay in a hospital. Medicare Part B will partly cover outpatient rehab in the Medicare accepted facility, and the individual will need to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't cover with supplement insurance coverage or they're going to have to self pay.
