Medicare is a form of health insurance created by the government for seniors, as well as people who have certain disabilities and illnesses. If someone who has Medicare needs rehab for instances of drug or alcohol abuse, their treatment will be either covered in full by their Medicare insurance or to a significant extent. The only real catch is, the person will have to acquire treatment from an alcohol and drugs detox facility which accepts Medicare. Before the individual will be permitted to commence rehabilitation, they may also have to visit their doctor who must declare that rehab services are medically necessary, and the doctor will usually approve which kind of rehabilitation the person will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of treatment solutions. Medicare Part A covers an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted center if the individual should be in a hospital for issue, and the costs that they will have to cover personally are the same as every other hospital stay. Part B will partly cover outpatient rehab inside a Medicare accepted center, and the individual will have to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't cover with supplement insurance coverage or they will have to self pay.
