Medicaid is a type of medical health insurance available for many people who are in specific income brackets which qualifies them to obtain this government funded insurance coverage. Whether a person qualifies for Medicaid doesn't only depend upon their earnings however, and people shouldn't presume they don't qualify because they earn a fair income. If they do not have Medicaid plus don't have the cash or some other form of health care insurance to pay for rehab, they could determine if they qualify for Medicaid and then sign up for a drug and alcohol treatment program that is approved inside their state.
