Medicare is a type of medical insurance designed by the government for older persons, and also those that have certain disabilities and sicknesses. When someone who has Medicare needs rehabilitation for cases of drug or alcohol abuse, their treatment will be either covered entirely by their Medicare health insurance or to a great extent. The one catch is, the person will need to receive treatment coming from a drug rehab facility which accepts Medicare. Before the person will be allowed to commence rehabilitation, they may also have to see their physician who must declare that rehab services are medically needed, and the physician will generally approve what sort of treatment the person will do. Medicare Part An and Part B cover a variety of treatment providers. Medicare Part A pays for an inpatient stay in a Medicare accepted facility when the individual must be in a hospital for problem, and the costs which they willwill have to pay for personally are the same as every other hospital stay. Part B will partially cover outpatient treatment within a Medicare accepted program, and the individual will need to cover whatever Medicare Part B doesn't pay for with supplement insurance coverage or they will have to self pay.
